The truth about Aaron’s sexuality was eventually going to come out and the singer decided to do it sooner rather than later.
Coming out and owning your truth can be one of the hardest things to do, but that’s exactly what Aaron did over the weekend. In a heartfelt and emotional tweet, Aaron shared a secret that he’s been holding close to himself for quite some time with the world.
In a very lengthy note, Aaron wrote to his fans QUOTE, “To start off, I would like to say that I love each and EVERY ONE of my fans. There’s something I’d like to say that I feel is important for myself and my identity that has been weighing on my chest for nearly half of my life. This doesn’t bring me shame, just a weight and burden I have held onto for a long time that I would like lifted off of me. I grew up in this entertainment industry at a very young age and when I was around 13-years-old I started to find boys and girls attractive. There were years that went by that I thought about it, but it wasn’t until I was 17-years-old, after a few relationships with girls, I had an experience with a male that I had an attraction to who I also worked with and grew up with.”
Aaron went on to say, “To me, music has always been my temple. Music will ALWAYS be what transcends all of us and myself. The studio has always been my safe haven. But the ultimate goal for me is to be satisfied. I never want to be a figure of disappointment.”
Once that statement hit the interwebs, Aaron’s fans showered him with love, support, and encouragement. One fan wrote QUOTE, “Love is love. No matter which form it takes. Much respect for you.” While many others told the singer they were proud of him for living his truth, which he greatly appreciated.
On top of coming out as bi-sexual, we also learned that Aaron is currently single. TMZ reported that a source close to Aaron revealed that the singer and his now ex-girlfriend Madison Parker broke up sometime last week, before Aaron’s coming out.
While the source said that their breakup was a long time coming, Aaron’s rep told TMZ that the split was amicable and that the two QUOTE, “love each other and respect one another dearly.”

  1. Why do people feel the need to make a statement about their sexuality. No one cares. Stop announcing that You came out. No one cares. And before someone tells me that obviously i care since i clicked on the video. You have a good point.

  2. Aaron Carter has one of those faces from that website faces of meth.. It makes me sad because he was so handsome. I think he should've grown up to look like Lil Peep minus the tattoos.

  3. Well in the gay Hollywood rituals, people who seek fame have to sell their soul and their ass cheeks. Like Bobby V, it isn't a secret about their sexuality. They were broken in before they got that number 1 hit on radio.

  4. Congrats for him if he's telling the truth, these days everybody riding the gay train for popularity. It isn't for popularity or whatever for normal gay ppl, it's just life

  5. I had no idea he was like that I never knew it's surprising and very shocking to her the split between him and Madison she was truly a lovely woman. When it comes to stuff like this I don't think I'll ever understand and he seems really bipolar as fuck and I'm just saying. Hopefully things shall be really good for him now…

  6. While watching the videos of his heyday when he was a pre-teen, I always thought he's definitely a closeted gay and waited for the day he'd come out. But now he came out as bi instead. Close, I guess.
I'm not his fan or anything, but if what I know about him is true, then this guy's been through a lot. And if what he wrote is his genuine feelings, then he's in an extremely vulnerable state right now. I wish people would give him a break. People who make fun of him obviously don't know and/or don't care about what he's been through ever since he was just a small child. I always see him as a victim of the showbiz.
You've seen similar celebs who entered the industry as a kid went literally insane growing up. He's had his own share of troubles, but I personally admire him for not giving up. He's still making music, and yes he's no longer in his heyday but he didn't end up in a mental facility, or worse, dying of OD or something like that. He doesn't even have the help and privilege that his brother has as a member of the BSB, he's doing this alone, but he doesn't give up. Even if you don't like him, you've got to acknowledge that. He's a fighter. So please just give him a break.
