  1. Hello my name is Suspension of Disbelief.
I think it's weird that you and me haven't been introduced yet after several year. I just wanted to say a few things:
-They didn't say how far from the wall they were, so Gendry COULD have ran the distance within several hours.
-They showed the Hound sleeping so they COULD have been on the rock for a few days.
-Ravens COULD make the trip to Dragonstone within 1-2 days depending on how fast they are in this fantasy series and how the wind streams work.
    – Dragons COULD make the distance in less than half the day if they fly about as fast as a helicopter.
-Remember Battle of the Bastards? Jon isn't that level headed.
-Fire can not kill White Walkers, only dragonglass or valyrian steel. Or maybe it's just easier to see a massive horde of zombies than a few creatures that are the same color as their surroundings..
-Seemed pretty clear that they left to go get the chains, they COULD have gotten them from Hardholm or maybe shipwrecks along the coast.

Maybe now that we've met you can stop nitpicking a little bit and enjoy things a little better

  2. I agree with most of your points but there was an establishing shot towards the beginning showing the extras that came with them. There were 11-13 men, don't remember exactly. They could have done a better job but I noticed the extras on my first watch.

  3. Arya knows Sansa has been through a lot. That's not the point, really. She's trying to force Littlefinger to step in between then, accelerating his plan before it's fully formed, so she (Arya) can have an advantage and take him out without reciprocation.

  4. IM SORRY TO SAY IT BUT GAME OF THRONES HAS TRULY JUMPED THE SHARK. SO INSTEAD OF BITCHING ABOUT IT IM JUST GONNA SIT BACK AND ENJOY THE LAST EPISODES THIS YEAR AND NEXT YEAR FOR WHAT THEY ARE. HOPEFULLY WE WILL GET SOME GOOD COMPREHENSIVE CLOSURE SOME DAY WITH WINDS OF WINTER AND DREAM OF SPRING. THE SHOW HAS BEEN GREAT IN AND OF ITSELF. IT IS WHAT IT IS. TIME TO MOVE ONTO WHEEL OF TIME.

  5. Obviously the letter came from King's Landing because in the preview it shows that Cersei has invited the Lords of the land for this "peace" meeting where Jon is going to present his case to unite to fight the Great War …

  6. You mention bullet points and drafts, and it really comes through as a synopsis sometimes.
    Step 1: Jon meets Dani
    Step 2: a war
    Step 3: maybe a plan?
    Step 4: They go North

So in the show we just get wham bam thank you mama travel, it's very disjointed.. But still some really great things happening. Can't wait for the book to fill those gaps and holes.

  7. Overall, I loved the episode but I feel like they could've cut out the uncle Ben controversy by having the second dragon come back and pick Jon up. It could've created this cool dynamic with the second dragon because it would show that it had a connection with Jon (ie. The dragon knows Jon is a targaryen) which could set up Jon and dany figuring out that they're related. Plus it would've been cool to see the dragon swoop down and just grab him.

  8. Called this in last week's episode. Next episode we ALL know what the cliffhanger will be. The wights going past/through the wall. As for the rest of the episode? Littlefinger has seen his days I think. Sansa is falling for nothing (she sent brienne away regardless of his suggestion) arya is falling for nothing (showing her trust in sansa by handing over dagger)… He's dead. Jon and dani have to get it on… He'll be her king which is why the north will accept her as their queen. Will he finally find out about his parentage? Hopefully. Very highly doubt a clegaine bowl at this point… Can't wait but that's my predictions… Watch this space

  9. i kinda have the feeling that Aria is doing what shes doing so Sansa realize that she has many Enemies and she has not the balls to go against littlefinger because of fear.
So that Sansa actually overcomes here fear.

  10. I am so sad that I am only now finding Roth again! Kept checking in with IGN's coverage hoping to see her again, had no idea she was on another channel! Now I have to back watch a lot of episodes.

  11. I genuinely hope Viserion doesn't breath anything actually. It wouldn't make any sense. Flying around eating people with the night king on its back is enough. Breathing ice doesn't seem logical.. well breathing fire isn't quite logical either.. but at least you would assume a living dragon has glands and special chemicals igniting when squirting it out of its mouth much like a snake. For it to breath ice would just seem kind of ridiculous.. i mean by that logic ordinary wights should posses the ability to breath ice. Also its armored against dragon fire already which makes it a hard enough target to kill.

  12. How was that episode good? It was full of predictable action with no stakes. We lost a dragon, that was the coolest thing but that one moment. Doesn't forgive the 2, omg 2!, last minute saves in the episode.

  13. why do people think the kingslanding invitation is a fake?…….the whole point of this episode was to capture a wight to take TO THAT AUDIENCE in kingslanding. the letter's legit and sansa's sending brienne in her place (probably 90% genuinely because that's the right political move in this situation and 10% because she knows littlefinger intends on utilising brienne in his machinations and sansa ain't here for that).

  14. Jon Snow took the Black, because he didn't want to have children. He didn't want bastard children, because he thought it would bring shame to them. He has always been honorable. So when he finds out that he is the legitimate heir of Prince Rhaegar Targaryen, then that will make him rethink about having children.

  15. Only having 7 episodes instead of 10 is hurting the show. The pacing is the problem, not the writing. They have to cram so much into each episode, that it now feels rushed. Whoever made that decision to only have 7 episodes for Season 7 and 6 episodes to Season 8, needs a slap in the face with a wet kipper.
