Holiday time! Queen Letizia steps out in a thigh-skimming dress as she joins her husband and mini-me daughters for a visit to an exhibition during their annual summer break in Palma
As Spanish royalty Queen Letizia and King Felipe VI can access private transport at the drop of a hat.
However, the royal couple today proved that when it comes to their summer break they prefer a down-to-earth approach as they made their way to a museum on foot on Sunday.
The king and queen were joined by their daughters Leonor and Sofia as they walked to the Can Prunera Modern Museum in the village of Soller, Mallorca a week into their summer break.
Letiza, 44, showcased her glowing tan in a thigh-skimming white mini dress which she paired with some bejewelled flat sandals for the walk.
The former journalist swapped her chic updos for a looser style as she wore her hair down for her outing today.
The mother-of-two kept her accessories to a minimal carrying an oversize straw bag and keeping a pair of sunglasses handy by slipping them onto the neckline of her dress.
Meanwhile her daughters were two of a kind, both dressed in linen summer dresses and the sisters even opted for matching shoes in the form of khaki espadrilles.
Leonor, 11, looked the spitting image of her mother in a blue and cream dress while her sister Sofia, 10 was charming in a white dress with striped detailing.
King Felipe did away with his typical tailoring opting instead for casual chinos and a printed shirt which he unbuttoned at the collar.
The family made their way through the village of Soller hand in hand greeting locals and shop keepers on their journey.
The king and queen took their daughters to see the exhibition ‘Pablo Picasso and Joan Miro. History of a Friendship’ at the museum injecting a bit of culture into the girls’ summer holidays.
The royals arrived at their summer home of the Marivent Palace in Palma on Monday and will spend the remainder of their break there.
The royal family traditionally spend their lengthy holiday at the palace, their official summer residence, on the Balearic island.
