  1. I wonder why these days people need movies to be so deep. Not all movies have to be. This is one of the best movies this year so far for me. The reason? I had a loooot of fun, I enjoyed myself real lot and just plain had a great time watching it. Ryan Reynolds and Sam Jackson are amazing together. It's like a symphony that you can't get enough of.
Did it have a meaningful deep story? No. Did that matter? Not at all.
It was an amazing, feel-good action movie starring an acting concert off two super talented actors.

  2. I'm enjoying seeing this much of Roth these days. Been a fan since the IGN days and that "slow drip" of content from her in comparison is very much my wheelhouse. 🙂

  3. What happened to the era of these movies? Movies that are fine, dumb movies that are still enjoyable. Not trying to say anything big, not trying to wow you, just kind of a small, funny thing that's enjoyable.

  4. The fourth wall breaking with Reynolds saying the classic line that Jackson says always is great. Seeing Reynolds injecting little bit of Deadpool into the mix is nice. Also the promos with him especially as Reynolds gets thrown out of the car through the front glass window is the funniest scene unless something else tops it.

  5. I am going to see this movie Thursday night because of the back and forth banter between Jackson and Reynolds. Even if Gary Oldmans role is limited as other critics have said it doesnt matter because the primary focus is on Reynolds and Jackson since that's what this movie is selling on. Definitely this is Patrick Hughes redemption film after the horrible reviews Expenables 3 got.
